SIAMS Report
We are very pleased to be a Church of England School and we are passionate about giving all of our children, families and staff the opportunity to live, learn and love in an environment that offers each individual love, respect and trust.
Our most recent SIAMS inspection highlighted the following:
- Leaders, including governors, carefully evaluate the impact of the Christian vision. As a result, they make bold decisions which enable pupils and adults to thrive, including the most vulnerable.
- The impact of the vision is shown through the care and inclusivity the school community displays. The sense of belonging is so strong that pupils are treasured for their uniqueness. They flourish because they are well known by adults.
- Strong partnerships with local churches are bringing pupils’ understanding of the Christian faith to life. Consequently, they encounter the richness and diversity of expression within the Church.
- Pupils’ understanding of justice and responsibility is carefully developed through the curriculum. As a result, they are keen advocates of change within and beyond the local community.
- The religious education (RE) curriculum is well led, and pupils’ learning is deep. It is a living expression of the vision, through which pupils progressively explore different faiths and worldviews, including Christianity.
