Who are the PTA?
St Nicholas PTA are Norton St Nicholas School's Parent & Teacher Association (PTFA). We are a registered charity with the objective of advancing the education of the pupils at the school.
If you are a parent/guardian of pupil(s), or a member of staff at Norton St Nicholas, then you are a member of the PTA. If you're an aunt/uncle/grandparent/ member of the local community who would like to support the school, you are also included in our membership.
PTA Events
The PTA organises a variety of fun events throughout the year for the enjoyment of the school community and to raise funds to benefit the children at the school. Popular events have included:

There are many ways that you can get involved in events and/or help with raising funds for our school:
Bring your empty ink cartridges & branded toners to the recycling bin by the school office (these are sent to EmptiesPlease* in return for cash)
The Committee
The PTA is managed by a Committee comprising as a minimum Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. The current SNAPS committee are:

Treasurers: Joanne Geer & Rachel Forster
We meet regularly to reflect on completed events, plan forthcoming events and make decisions about how the funds that have been raised are used. All PTA members are welcome (& encouraged) to attend our Committee Meetings.
Our partnerships
We are proud to be working with Micro Scooters who have donated 3 wheeled scooters and scooter helmets for our children to use. The company also run a ScooterAid scheme whereby they revamp old/unwanted Micro Scooters and send them to good causes across the country – giving thousands of children who may otherwise miss out the chance to play. If you have a scooter you would like to donate the scheme please get in touch with Micro Scooters.
